Oh, how I recall this one.
Not in a horrendous or ghastly fashion.
So, another plate rolls around during the evening. Slices of meat and little vegetables on the side – as is the custom. Once again, into the breach I delve, bravely unasking what this piece so delicately clung to my chopsticks is.
Garlic on the side is a nice touch. For me, as a garlic lover, everything else is accoutrement.
However, this meat demands undivided attention.
Nama no uma no shita. Raw horse tongue.
With delicious garlic. I didn’t stop at just one slice.Advertisements
