I didn’t get a chance to revisit this location, off to the side of Roppongi Hills, this time around. I recall seeing it for the first time and trying to figure out the why – this huge light wall with numbers that appear to randomly pop up. The obvious would be some sort of way to telling time, but to no avail I couldn’t decipher it.
Looking it up I found that it’s part of the Public Art projects around the Roppongi Hills area, with this piece specifically mentioned as “Digital numbers on a glass screen excite the imaginations of passersby.“
Well, my imagination was excited enough to make it a target of my lens, though I wouldn’t consider my digital number appetite satiated yet.Advertisements
