Ever since the Petersen Automotive Museum opened it’s doors in 1994, I’ve desired to visit it. The “so close, yet so far” syndrome was strong, but I finally broke it’s grip during Christmas Break. The prevailing motivation that has pushed me past this syndrome is the one that time to enjoy these special moments with my children is passing away so quickly as they aggressively sprout to teenage years, with the fear that wide-eyed wonderment transforms into jaded bleh-ness.
Stereotypical, of course.
However, as I leave the museum, the display challenges me for next special moment…indeed, what is next?Advertisements
