The Wild West

Info
  • Or at least what living in California was like in the early 19th century, when ranches dotted the landscape and the only connection between towns were on trails blazed by missionaries and traders. This room is located in Heritage Hill in Lake Forest, a museum dedicated to preserving this historic legacy. I’ve taken creative liberties with color and exposure, but I like the “painted” look that the artifacts and setting from the past take on. It’s also a departure from the typical black & white that I think sometimes feels forced.
